The
finished baby in wild olive wood. So fine you can see the sun
shining right through the neck. They are very lightweight and
make an especially unique gift to fly home with. Not your average
plastic souvenir by any means. Your own special miniature natural
art piece.

Red
Ivory with an inserted shoulder ring in African Black Wood, also
known as Black Iveory. Next is European Beach with inserts in 7000
year old Bog Oak from Ireland. The next little urn is turned from
a very rare wild olive burr (burl) with ivory or hippo tusk inserts.
The last one is made from African Blac Wood (Dalbergia melanoxylon).
All four of these are about 4cm (1.5") in height and have an
internal wall thickness of less than 1mm (1/8"). They weigh
almost nothing and feel like blown eggs when you handle them. The
finish is French Polish, using shellac. Incidentally, Red Ivory
and Black Ivory are listed commercially as two of the rarest and
most expensive woods in the world.

well as a brief description and history of its origins.
